For practitioners
Bringing clients to you based on fit, not search filters.
Archimie is a matching platform for English-speaking practitioners in France that pairs you with clients using therapeutic alliance research. Not a directory to be listed in—a referral engine that sends you the clients who actually fit how you work.
Joining in small cohorts. Free during beta. See membership tiers.
How it works
From your profile to a first conversation with a client, in four steps.
01
You complete a practitioner questionnaire
A considered profile, self-reflective, saveable — you can return to it any time.
02
Clients complete a client questionnaire
Grounded in therapeutic-alliance research.
03
Archimie matches you
Only when the fit makes sense across relational and practical dimensions.
04
A 15-minute Intro Call
Mutual, free to the client. Both sides confirm the fit before any commitment.
How a matching engine differs from a directory
Clients are matched to you by fit — relational, practical, and cultural — rather than surfaced by keyword or postcode. Every practitioner on Archimie also has training or substantive experience with trauma.
Matched, not listed
Clients arrive having answered a questionnaire grounded in alliance research. They reach you because the fit makes sense, not because you ranked highest on a keyword.
Quality over volume
A small cap on how many themes any one practitioner can claim. Specialisations are narrow by definition, and clients trust the profile more.
Trauma-informed by requirement
Practitioners on Archimie all have some training or solid experience in working with trauma, equipped to work with its effects when they show up, often unexpectedly.

Why this pays off for your practice
- Reach clients you'd otherwise never be surfaced to. Archimie routes on relational fit, so being the right practitioner matters more than being the most findable one.
- Better retention from the first session. Clients arrive matched on the factors that actually predict alliance, so early drop-off falls and the work goes deeper, sooner.
- Mutual sign-off. If a match isn't right for you, you say so and it doesn't proceed. Build a sustainable caseload.
What we'll ask you
Archimie's onboarding is closer to self-reflection than a form.
We ask about the themes you're most experienced with, how you actually work in the room, and how you navigate rupture, differences, and crisis. We verify protected titles where they apply and ask for training evidence where they don't.
Nothing is published without your explicit sign-off, and we're available to walk through your profile before it enters the matching pool.
Early signals
What practitioners and clients are telling us
“Building my Complete Profile made me feel the platform actually cares about how I work — not just my keywords.”
“It feels like a very safe initiative: your information's safe. your needs are safe. the therapists on the other side will be safe to interact with… it just makes you feel safe.”
“I've worked at different mental health companies. Archimie doesn't feel like any of them out there. It feels intentional. It clearly cares about the caliber of its practitioners, and — more than anything — about the clients coming to us for support.”
“Instead of the strain of seeking somebody out yourself — which is what's overwhelming to me, like where do I even start? — this is an incredible tool to start, for someone like me especially.”
The cohort
A small cohort to start.
We're holding the cohort small so we can get feedback on every match, calibrate the engine, and fine-tune the process and experience of the platform for both sides. Learn about the membership tiers and join the waitlist for our next intake.
